![]() Tony Bradshaw: What got you started in the wrestling industry? Johnny Drake: My brother was in the business for a while, and I always wanted to break in. He got injured real bad in one of his early fights, sending me into an emotional downward spiral. My life fell apart, and I ended up in jail. After being released, it was the only way I could think of to get money. Tony Bradshaw: If you were given the opportunity, what would you do with your life? Johnny Drake: I can't really picture my life anymore without wrestling or the HWF. Maybe I'd run their website or something... hehe... that might be pretty cool. Tony Bradshaw: What was your first impression of the HWF? Johnny Drake: *in Stevie Ray's voice* ...oh my GOD!! Tony Bradshaw: Do you have any secret talents or little things that you can do? Johnny Drake: Yeah, I could do the worm way the hell before Scotty 2 Hotty could do it. And I make liscence plates quite well... hehe... Tony Bradshaw: Okay, you have the chance to wrestle ANYONE in history, it doesn't even have to be a wrestler, who would it be and most importantly why? Johnny Drake: Hmmm... that's a good one. I'd probably wrestle my old stable mate and best friend Stoche, of the team Arrogance. We never got to see who was the better man. Other then that, I think that me and Jeff Hardy could put on a pretty good show. Tony Bradshaw: Do you like the prospect of "Hardcore" in wrestling? Or do you think Hardcore is basically a easy way to get over and doesn't involve any real talent? Johnny Drake: I knew you were gonna ask this. Well, here's the answer. I don't really like the traditional hardcore style. There's something about 2 guys rolling around in a ring, seeing who can bleed more, that doesn't quite rub me the right way. I do, however, encourage hardcore wrestling as long as the action keeps going. Adding weapons to a match creates a whole new field on entertainment availible to the fans. As long as it's wrestling and not organized violence. Tony Bradshaw: Do you have any idols you'd love to meet? Johnny Drake: Yeah... Ric Flair... Tony Bradshaw: How long have you been wrestling and training for? Johnny Drake: Wrestling for 2 years now, until I took this job on staff. Tony Bradshaw: Have you ever done anything that has changed your life, or made you reconsider what you were doing to the point of stopping it? Johnny Drake: Don't ask me that question. Tony Bradshaw: Do you ever dwell on the past? Johnny Drake: Every god damn day... every day is so fucking long but your memory only stores about 5 minutes worth of knowledge. Time just flies so fast. That's actually why I joined staff, I love looking back and seeing what I have done with my life.
Tony Bradshaw: What is your favorite genre of music, and why? Johnny Drake: Rap. Enough said... I mean, it may only be one or two or three guys on stage performing, but their music is just as deep, if not deeper, than any other group and/or artist on the maret today. Tony Bradshaw: Who is your favorite musical artist/band, and why? Johnny Drake: DMX... do me a favor and listen to his first CD; songs 1; 5; and 13... let's see if we can make a believer out of you too. Tony Bradshaw: What CD's in your collection are hitting your ears currently? Johnny Drake: Ja Rule's "Rule 3:36", Big Pun's "Yeeeah Baby", all three of DMX's CDs, Lox's 2nd, And the Ruff Ryder compilations. Tony Bradshaw: Who is your favorite wrestler, living or dead, and why? Johnny Drake: Favorite? Well, that would have to be Jeff Hardy. But the greatest wrestler ever is either Ric Flair or Bret Hart. Tony Bradshaw: What is your favorite genre of film, and why? Johnny Drake: Comedy and Drama... shit like Belly and stuff. Tony Bradshaw: Who is your favorite actress/actor, and why? Johnny Drake: Adam Sandler... hey, speaking of Sandler, check this fun-fact out. In every movie Sandler's ever done, he's played a character with a two-sylable name with either a 'y' or an 'ie' at the end of it. Think about it... You have Billy, Happy, Archie, Robby, Bobby, Sonny, and Nicky. What the fuck is that!?! Tony Bradshaw: What are your favorite types of videogames? Johnny Drake: Wrestling, although I don't really play video games that much. Tony Bradshaw: What games have you been playing recently? Johnny Drake: Nothing really... Tony Bradshaw: What is your favorite author/book? Johnny Drake: I liked Mankind's books, but I love some of Voltaire's books that I read while incarcerated. Tony Bradshaw: What is your favorite food? Johnny Drake: I guess some sort of fast food... since I'm on the road so much. Tony Bradshaw: What is your favorite color? Johnny Drake: Hmmm... I kinda like orange. Tony Bradshaw: What hand do you whipe your ass with? Johnny Drake: Which ever side the toilet paper is on...
