Physical Appearance: Shawn Collins isn’t a big man. He has long light brown hair that curls slightly. He has slight peach fuzz under his chin, which he sometimes lets grow into a goatee. He’s built, but not huge. In-Ring Attire: Depending on his mood, Shawn Collins’ attire can vary each time he comes to ringside. If he’s in the fighting mood, he wears his traditional wrestling suit - olive cargo pants and black wrestling boots. However, he can come to ring wearing anything from a suit to a leisure suit to a flashy shirt with black pants. He’s a showman, that’s all there is to it!. Casual Attire: Shawn Collins usually wears a Shawn Collins T-Shirt with a pair of khaki cargo pants. However, he is a showman, and can wear anything at any time. Life History: Before his first encounter with Wrestling, Shawn Collins remembers nothing of his childhood. He began his professional career as Hades in the EWWF as part of the Nation Of Darkness. During Hades’ time there, John Jupiter, Gavin Coens and Ed Neptune taught Shawn Collins how to rally a crowd, and wrestle a good match. However, Jupiter left his student. Hades joined up with ‘The Canadian Kid’ Kyle Corman, Extream and Bricklayer to form ‘The Elite’. During his time with The Elite, Kyle Corman and he won the World Tag Team titles, and he became the number one contender for the United States title. Then, the federation collapsed, and Hades went missing. A few months later, Shawn Collins joined several federations with his good friend Killroy Jenkins, which all collapsed under time. He won various titles, and was the number one contender for the World Title in many of these federations before they shut down. Therefore, Shawn believed he kept getting screwed out of his chance to be the best. Shawn changed his gimmick to become ‘Mr. Showtime’ Shawn Collins. He began to appeal more to the audience, and he got a great reaction. Shawn was also seeing a psychiatrist. He felt headaches, and had nightmares from time to time. After some time, he joined a federation called the BAWF with ‘The Canadian Kid’ Kyle Corman. The two made a huge impression on the federation. They won the tag team titles together, and Shawn Collins won the Intercontinental Championship. During his reign as Intercontinental Champion, he received more headaches, and a strange man in black continued to show up in his place on several occasions. One day, 3 months after Shawn joined the BAWF, Shawn was commentating a card, and he went blank. He got up and destroyed everyone in the ring. When he took the microphone, he didn’t speak like himself. Instead, he referred to himself as -god- and -the one who is torn apart-. He became Hades once again. His psychiatrist told him before that he was having problems controlling his id. In Freudian theory, the division of the psyche that is totally unconscious and serves as the source of instinctual impulses and demands for immediate satisfaction of primitive needs. That is the id. Hades was Shawn Collins’ id. When Shawn Collins reached great heights of anger or hatred, Hades would grow inside and be released. So Hades was released, and reeked havoc I the BAWF for 2 months. Hades became the number one contender for the World Title in these 2 months, and continued in his plan to make everyone in the federation “Bow down to him and confess that he is god”. During the pay per view of the first month Hades returned, he fought the Canadian Kid, and destroyed him with something he liked to call “The Power”. In his second month, Hades fought Canadian Kid again at the pay per view, and had to wrestle in a World Title match the same night. The world title match also consisted of Canadian Kid. It was a battle royal. He brought his new Nation Of Darkness to the ring when he fought CK, and they turned on him, causing him the match and his first ever loss in the BAWF. This resulted in him being taken to the back on a stretcher. He lost consciousness, and finally realized that he wasn’t the -god- he claimed to be. He was mortal. Everyone believed that Hades would not return for the World Title battle royal. And they were right. Instead, the words ‘Mr. Showtime’ showed up on the screen, ‘Clubbed To Death’ hit the speakers, and Shawn Collins came out and won his first ever World Title on September 3, 2000. He has had the longest reign as World Champion in that federation - 3 straight months. In September, while he was defending his World Title in the BAWF, he signed with the HWF to be their Commissioner. Chaz needed the extra help, and Shawn Collins was ready to help. They had a history of friendship since the EWWF, and now work on the same team. Still unstable, but having the time of his life, Shawn Collins comes out every week to do his weekly shit on Commissioner’s Corner.
