When did the HWF start, and how long has it been up?
:: The HWF started on May 25th, 1998. It ran strong for a good year straight. A week before the PPV 'Parade of Cannibals', the site was hacked and the fed was shutdown. The identity of "Hackdaddy" is still unknown to this day, although people have their theories. The HWF re-opened a few months later and has been up ever since. For more information, go read the fed's history.

Is the HWF accepting wrestlers?
:: No... as of December 12th, 2000 - the HWF is no longer accepting wrestlers. Go to the Application page for more info.

Staff!?! You're looking for Staff-Members too?
:: Actually... yeah we are, sort of. The HWF is always looking for new talent to join our ranks, including card-writers. If you want a spot with the staff, you can start the brutal evaluation process by contacting an exsiting staff member; preferably Chaz Manson or Johnny Drake.

I've wrestled in other feds, do I really have to fill out a Sample Roleplay?
:: Yes, you do. This is the only way we'll be able to tell your RP quality. You can either Copy and Paste an RP from a past fed, leave us a link or just write your debut RP for the HWF. If you're accepted than you can post that immediately.

What's a Strat?
:: A strat, or strategy, is a vital part of you involvment in the fed. It should be sent in before card deadlines and should include any spots, moves, interviews, or basic strategies you wish to employ for that particular match. For more information, read 'About the HWF'.

How do you decide winners?
:: Matches are decided by three things: Roleplaying, Strats, and Angles. Roleplaying/Strats fall into the same basic category and are the most important. Roleplays/Strats count 80% towards match desicion. Obviously, the other 20% are determined by current angles. For more information, read 'About the HWF'.

Okay, I'm in the fed. How do I get a match scheduled?
:: Roleplay. If we feel that you are involved enough in the fed, than we will schedule you in a match. You can also request special matches by contacting staff, but you need to back it up with roleplaying.

I sent in my strat/angle, how come it wasn't used?
:: Most likely you didn't roleplay enough for the angle or another angle was overlapping it. In personal situations such as this, it is best to contact a Staff Member.

Okay, whatever... how long will it take me to become Main Event material?
:: Um... it depends on a few things. First of all, you must have anghles to backup your character's sudden rise to the top. You must also be able to RP with the top guys. Some people have joined the fed, bragging about how they'd be main event by the end of the month, but they never lasted long.

How do you make your images?
:: Most of the images on the HWF site are made with Adobe Photoshop 5.5, with a lot of different plug-ins. Occasionaly, there will images made from PSP, but not very often.

Cool, could you make my e-fed wrestler an image?
:: Now, here's a varied question. We have provided this service in the past; not only for OUR wrestlers, but for other e-friends around the internet. Once again, it all depends on the circumstances. If the staff member is busy, and tells you it'll be a couple days, it's better to wait then to pester him.

NOTE: President Johnny Drake has already put 3 people on ignore for bothering him with this offense.

Alright, what about that scrolling-menu... how'd you make that?
:: A roll-up menu such as the one on hard2thecore.com is availible at most any javascript site. However, after fiddling with the script for what seemed like years, HWF Staff borrowed the script from the
fWo. You can use it if you want.

When did your staff members join staff?
:: Chaz Manson created the HWF. He's been aorund forever. Johnny Drake joined staff on 6.18.00, and Shawn Collins shortly after around mid-August. Bisc Limpkit, however, just joined on 10.16.00.

I don't want to be in the fed anymore, how should I go out?
:: Well, that's your choice... just MAKE SURE YOU TELL US!! You don't want to build a career here and then disappear of the face of the earth.

Alright, last question. When will the HWF end?
:: Never.
