You just recently lost the Hardcore title to Marcus Fernandez. You have said that you have no desire in getting the belt back. Is this just a way to avoid another match with Marcus Fernandez, or do you feel that you could do more in non-hardcore style matches?

I definitely feel the need to go back to what I’m best at, and what I’m best at is not hardcore matches. When the stakes were lower, I beat Marcus Fernandez, but when it came down to what he’s great at, a Hardcore style match, there was no way I could compete with him. He’s a sick bastard and I’ll give him credit for it. But I’m a show-man. Always have, always will be. I’m dangerous, but I don’t need a fire extinguisher to prove how mentally insane I can sometimes be. Besides, the Hardcore Title is less coveted than the World Title anyway. So why lower my standards when I could take the Icon or Extream?

Although shadowed by a "crybaby" image, you are undeniably one of the best the HWF has to offer. How can you take all the smack talk from the other wrestlers and still be successful in the ring, despite your incredible list of foes?

The "crybaby" image? Look, the guys in the back can think whatever they want. But when I see someone who is kept down because they are new, and guys who are washed-up running the place, that pisses me off. And when I notice something that pisses me off, I speak my mind. I’m former Hardcore Champ and soon to be World Champ, and if they’re not down with that, then I got two words for them, Fuck off!

Speaking of your foes, do you feel you could be further in your road to being number one if you hadn't made so many enemies?

I don’t think it matters who your friends or enemies are in this business. Unless you’re in a tag team situation, there’s no need to rely on others to help you through matches. Unfortunately in the HWF, many guys have to rely on their friends to help them. I’ve been in two stables since my return, and I never did well while I was in them. So it looks like I’ll probably go it alone for a long portion of my career. Vicious Vic Williams has gone it alone for the majority of his career, and he’s labeled as probably one of the best around here if not the best. I’m afraid to get in a hardcore situation with that guy. Because if I did, it may mean my demise. That frightens me a little bit, but I never have turned down a challenge.

A crucial mistake? No. He did beat the Icon, but the Icon hasn’t even been around lately. Neither has Extream. They both just come back out of nowhere and start fighting for the HWF World Title. As far as I’m concerned, if Chaz [you] decided to stick a ten year-old girl against a ninety year-old man, then someone would have to win the world title. It’s the same case with the World Title right now. Two guys who are hardly heard from duking it out for the greatest prize in the business. Does it make any sense? No. But is that the way it is? Yes.

Now, I'll name a few of the HWF's finest and you tell me what you think of them.

Extream – Washed up and annoying. Never around when needed, so for all the newcomers out there, when Extream offers you a spot in the "Elite" just know what’s going to happen when your ass is getting beat by four guys in the middle of the ring on Saturday Suicide. I found out the hard way. And it wasn’t pleasant. What’s the point of being held in the same faction as a man who holds no real connection towards you and never shows up? It’s cool to have a Champion in the faction, but it’s not worth it if it is all bullshit.

The Icon – A great showman when he shows up once in a while. Well respected
by everyone and myself. There’s nothing bad you can really say about the guy. He’s first-class and he’s a great wrestler. Maybe if he was around more he could be as dominant as he once was back in the day.

Vicious Vic Williams – The sickest motherfucker I’ve ever met. I’m nowhere near afraid of him, but I give him all the respect in the hardcore division that one can give someone. Next to NBK, the only person with any hardcore talent. The other guys are just mainly talk and bullshit. These two guys squaring off is surely going to be one for the ages.

Brad Hunter and Cerebus – Definitely the best damn tag team around right now. I’ve been through a lot with Brad Hunter, and Cerebus is usually around to speak his mind against the guys I hate, so what the hell? Congratulations on being the Tag Team Champions and rushing through the "competition."

Michael Trey – A decent wrestler with a little bit of mic skills. I beat him once, but he has a lot of excuses about that. Maybe they’re true, maybe they’re false, but one way or another, he didn’t bribe people to get to the top of the Hardcore Wrestling Federation, so he’s going to be a task to beat, especially when Lance Sterling is thrown into the ratio. My chances of victory certainly are getting smaller. His type of match, neither of them really like me. I don’t know, but it doesn’t look good for Thunder in my eyes.

NBK – The second sickest man I’ve ever met. I tried it once and got a little lucky when he didn’t go for any weapons. Which is probably why I won the Hardcore Title in the first place. Then I got in the ring with him again and he pulled out everything in sight. And I can’t compete with his use of weaponry, so I guess that did me in. All in all, a great wrestler and a hell of an athlete. Too bad he’s such an asshole.

Lance Sterling – I’ve always given respect to this guy and I’m not going to stop now just because we’re contending for the World Championship. I’m not like some of the assholes around here who will be your best friend and giving you respect but when it comes to a match just be like, "Oh well, now you suck!" That’s stupid. But once again, great athlete, and he’s made a hell of a quick jump to the top. Hope everything works out with the Perfect Alliance.
